This week Dr Frédéric Thomasfrom the Centre for Evolutionary and Ecological Research on Cancer, CNRS at the University of Montpellierwill join the Evolutionary Medicine and Public Health seminar series to disscussEcological and evolutionary perspectives on cancer.
Frédéric studies the interaction between organisms and parasites and their consequence on species and ecosystems as well as human evolutionary biology, the origins of infection and the evolution of cancer.
He recently created in Montpellier the CREEC (Center for Ecological and Evolutionary Cancer Research) with Benjamin Roche.
